How it works

Create word lists from our built-in dictionary of 11000+ words and learn words using flashcards or by writing out Chinese words. You can conveniently create an unlimited number of customized word lists and folders with an unlimited number of words in each list out of the official word vocabulary for all three official Chinese language tests. For example, you can set up a list of words named HSK 4-10-5 corresponding to Level 4, lesson #10 and text #5; this list can be included in a folder named HSK 4-10, which will be included in a folder named HSK 4. You can manage the lists and folders by editing their names and by relocating them using the drag-and-drop function. A short 50-sec video demonstrates key features of the app.

HSK

The HSK part of this app contains 11092 Chinese words and 3000 characters required for all nine HSK 2021 levels and 5000 Chinese words necessary for all six HSK 2012 levels published in the official up to date list on www.testchinese.cn. The words and characters are broken down into separate lists corresponding to each HSK level.

Standard pre-set word lists.

You can go through pre-set standard lists of words. This feature is quite useful for a quick review right before the exam.
Customized own word lists to learn.

The enhanced benefit of this app is that you can create your own customized lists from the provided official 11000+ word vocabulary for all three tests. Using the words searched through either English translation or pinyin, you can create additional lists to target the words you need to learn and review.
Convenient word list management system.

You can conveniently create an unlimited number of customized word lists with an unlimited number of words in each list. For example, you can create a list named HSK 4-12-5 (HSK level 4, lesson 12, text 5) and put it in folder HSK 4-12, which itself could be in a folder named HSK 4. You can re-name lists of words or folders and move them around using the drag-and-drop function.
Word flashcards and writing out words.

You may learn and review words by either going through flashcards or practicing by writing out Chinese words. If a word is new or difficult, prompts are available.
Flashcards: two ways of learning.

In flashcard mode, you may choose to study words either from English to Chinese and pinyin or from Chinese to English and pinyin.
Track your progress.

This app tracks and monitors your daily progress made compared to the daily target set by you, as well as your overall progress in learning Chinese words, both separately for flashcards and writing.
